We are here in Illinois to partner with the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society’s “Music Saved my Life” campaign to sing the praises of healthy habits and being tobacco-free.
What is Music Saved My Life?
“Music Saved My Life” is a statewide youth initiative in Illinois of the American Cancer Society that promotes healthy behaviors and lifestyles to young people via music and spoken word. The tour circles the state, starting in Chicago and ending in Marion, IL.

Adagio Health’s Power Up Program Brings Jump with Jill to High Need Schools in Western Pennsylvania

Adagio Health’s Power Up program brings a one‐of‐kind assembly to local schools, Jump with Jill. Students will not only “jump” with Jill, who has been called a Rockstar Nutritionist, but also learn about the importance of physical activity and good nutrition. Power Up staff will be on hand with a healthy‐but‐delicious food tasting and other educational activities.
“With nearly one‐fifth of our nation’s children now classified as obese and one‐third as overweight, the time to address these issues is now,” said Karen Virostek, RD, Director of Nutrition Services at Adagio Health. “Both Power Up and Jump with Jill approach creating behavioral change in students with a fresh take on the traditional “healthy eating” message. We like to make it fun for students while empowering them to make good choices not just now but for a lifetime.”
