Mr. Hynoski’s class dies of laughter, inflicted up close and personal by Jill Jayne, MS, RD.
The Toms River third-graders jumped with Jill on May 21st and 22nd at the Pine Belt Arena.
In partnership with Barnabas Health/Community Medical, Jump with Jill is just the beginning of the Healthy Families initiative that will see the district and the hospital coordinating on a kick-off Health Fair scheduled for Oct. 11, 2012.
To encourage the students to keep jumping even after the event, Barnabas Health/Community Medical provided jump ropes for extra motivation. President Stephanie Bloom attended the event with her sneakers on to promote community health.
The performance was set up by Mr. Doug Hynoski, a 5th grade teacher. Because his students were not chosen to attend Jump with Jill, Jill Jayne took the show to his students for a special classroom performance, where they died of laughter.
